What to expect at Your Appointment
From the moment you arrive, our goal is to make your experience calm, private, and empowering. Your thermography session takes place in a peaceful, spa-like environment—quiet, softly lit, and thoughtfully designed to help you feel at ease.
You’ll be greeted by one of our female certified clinical thermographers, who will guide you through every step of the process. Before imaging begins, you’ll have time to adjust to the comfortable room temperature, allowing your body to reach thermal balance. This brief acclimation period—typically about 10–15 minutes—ensures your images reflect your body’s true thermal patterns.
Once you’re ready, your thermographer will perform the study using a high-resolution medical infrared camera—completely contact-free and radiation-free. You’ll simply stand or sit in position as a series of thermal images are taken, capturing the natural heat patterns of your body tissue from various angles. The process is entirely painless, safe, and non-invasive—there’s no compression, no contact, and no discomfort.
After your study, the images are reviewed with you. Everything is very transparent. Once complete your images are securely sent to a board-certified medical thermologist for interpretation. In about 2-3 days you’ll receive a detailed report. You may schedule a follow-up consultation if desired, to discuss your results and any suggested next steps.
The entire visit typically takes about 30-60 minutes depending on the type of study, leaving you feeling cared for, informed, and confident in your proactive approach to your overall wellness.
Cancellation & Reschedule Policy
We understand that life happens, and sometimes you cannot keep your scheduled appointment. In these instances, we would greatly appreciate a courtesy call at least 24 hours before your appointment time, so we can plan accordingly. This consideration allows other clients an opportunity to reserve an appointment during that time. Because of the distance that we often travel to provide service at our remote clinics; your advanced notice also assures that we can efficiently plan for our staffing and materials.
If you do not appear for your scheduled appointment and you have not contacted us via phone, 615-934-3121 (as we do not accept cancellations by email or text), we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee equal to the cost of your booked service.
If you are running late for your appointment, please call us, 615-934-3121. We will do our best to accommodate you or reschedule your appointment.
We are dedicated to making your appointments as easy and convenient as possible. We thank you for your understanding of this important issue.
